Piano City Milano at the Pinacoteca di Brera

Piano City Milano – In the splendid courtyard of the Pinacoteca di Brera, Piano City Milano presents two pianos for six hours of uninterrupted 1800s and 1900s music.

It is an occasion to listen to famous pieces like The Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saëns and the Bolero by Ravel, two monographic programmes with music by Chopin adapted for two pianos and Rachmaninov and, last but not least, a dialogue between classical music and jazz.

This sixth edition stands out because of its music contents, the projects and original approach.
Once more, this year the collaboration with many cultural and institutional partners, alongside companies and associations active in the area, has allowed to invade the whole city with music.
For the first time the pianists go beyond the city limits, holding concerts across the province and the region, going beyond geographical boundaries and yet remaining central to the spirit of the festival.
