Space Rental
The Pinacoteca di Brera hosts events and projects organised jointly by the public and private sectors in an effort to sustain and to develop its art heritage and to promote the use of its public spaces, which can be rented out for activities compatible with safety requirements and with the cultural nature of Brera’s unique heritage.
Private citizens and institutions may, with due authorisation, hold their events and initiatives in the following areas of the Palazzo di Brera: the Cortile d’Onore, the Sala della Passione, the Spazio Consagra, the Loggiato Superiore and the Pinacoteca. The Pinacoteca affords priority to initiatives either including a special tour of the museum outside regular opening hours or providing for the purchase of a given number of tickets to allow participants to visit the museum during regular opening hours.
The Palazzo di Brera has acquired a reputation in recent years as an increasingly attractive venue for companies, institutions and cultural and social events, becoming an active and prestigious focal point for the city’s cultural and social life and a sought-after setting for lectures, seminars, course, gala evenings and prestigious meetings.
The Pinacoteca di Brera and its premises in the Palazzo di Brera have recently hosted numerous quality events of various kinds including major cultural encounters, a number of institutional events and several initiatives spawned by cooperation between the institutions and the private sector, such as:
• Brera Musica 2012;
• il Convegno su Giovanni Testori;
• Mito 2013 e 2014;
• Musei Aperti;
• Notte ai Musei;
• le Giornate Europee del Patrimonio;
• Ferragosto a Brera;
• La Settimana della Cultura.
It has also taken part in such popular retrospectives and initiatives as:
• Il Salone del Mobile;
• la Milanesiana;
• “La Repubblica delle Idee – la Bellezza ed Altro”;
• la mostra “Transmettre”;
• la Premiazione “Connecting Culture”.
In addition to the above, the Pinacoteca di Brera has hosted such events as concerts with the Conservatorio di Milano, the Agimus and Italia Nostra, the latter for a project entitled “Musica nei luoghi dell’arte“, a considerable number of corporate events, and prestigious encounters organised for example by the Università Bocconi, such as the annual meeting of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE), and by the Borsa Italiana/London Stock Exchange Group Foundation, such as Luxury Finance 2014, Italian Infrastructure Day 2014, the Database Geographic Origination Prize 2014 and a project for cooperation between art, fashion and the world of finance entitled Rivelazioni – Finance for Fine Arts.
