The museum in a bag

A new way for a family visit thanks to Piera, the Pinacoteca Brera’s bag, distributed at the museum’s info point: special objects, tools and activity suggestions invite the family group to observe, discover, play together.

The sights

We have them in different shapes: square, circle, oval, rectangle, star, heart–some you suggested just for us.
With crosshairs you can play frame the favorite detail of the work and challenge the rest of the family to draw it, following only your words describing it. It’s not as easy as it sounds!

The grid

We present the two red grids for an exciting version of naval battle: as soon as the family has organized the teams and prepared the battlefields, the hunt for “heads” will begin.
In addition, the older ones will be able to try their hand at a faithful reproduction of the works, helping themselves to this tool that has always been used by painters.

The monocle

The monocle is undoubtedly the most beloved object for very young children among those contained in Piera, the Brera Art Gallery suitcase.
The tools and games offered are designed for families with children ages 3 and under, but in observing our visitors at work with Piera we have seen that older brothers and sisters are fantastic at engaging the little ones, much to everyone’s amusement. For children under 3, we have included in each case a pencil specially for their little hands.
And with the monocle you can start a memory contest among those who spot the most details uncovered among the paintings on display in a room. Ready… go!

Museum Cubes

Fra i cartoncini delle istruzioni quello giallo, che riprende il colore dei dadi, propone giochi adatti a diverse fasce d’età (per tutti, +7, +12), per coinvolgere grandi e piccoli insieme. Ci si può lanciare in una caccia ai particolari che richiamano il simbolo uscito tirando il dado, e poi comporre una filastrocca che li leghi tutti. Ma non fermatevi qui, inventate nuovi giochi!
