From Bach to Jazz
The evolution of classical music
before contemporary music.
The Pinacoteca di Brera, in collaboration with the Micheli Foundation, presents a series of six evening musical events in the form of masterclass concerts, held by internationally renowned pianists (Gile Bae, Giuseppe Albanese, Roberto Giordano, Michele Di Toro, Alessandro Taverna) who will illustrate the evolution of music from the 18th to the 20th century through live performances.
The concerts, which will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., will coincide with the special opening hours of the Pinacoteca until 11:30 p.m.

Roberto Giordano in concert with a program dedicated to F. Chopin
An internationally renowned Italian pianist, Roberto Giordano made his name at a very young age at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. Appreciated for his elegance, virtuosity, and interpretative sensitivity, he has performed in prestigious venues in Europe, Asia, and America, collaborating with leading orchestras and conductors.
He has an extensive discography (Bach, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Brahms, Italian composers) and numerous video productions broadcast by international television stations. Also active in chamber music, he has played with artists such as José Van Dam and Danilo Rossi.
A teacher and trainer with many years of experience, he has taught at prestigious European institutions and is currently a professor at the Royal Conservatoire in Antwerp.
