Every year, during the last week of September, the European Heritage Days open the doors of cultural sites across Europe. The year 2026 brings with it a theme that resonates particularly strongly in a museum like Brera: “Protecting Heritage: Renew, Resist, Reinvent”, an invitation to reflect on what it means to preserve art, pass it on, and keep it alive over time.
