The Pinacoteca di Brera announces the exceptional loan of Caravaggio’s “Supper in Emmaus” to the exhibition “Caravaggio 2025” at Palazzo Barberini, Rome. The event, which takes place in the context of Jubilee 2025, brings together more than 20 masterpieces by the Lombard master. The loan of the work offers visitors a unique opportunity to admire it in an exhibition context dedicated to Caravaggio’s entire production.

Sculptural masterpieces by Canova, Pandiani, Magni and Spertini are moving from Milan after 122 years. This is the first result of a historic synergistic agreement between Fondazione Federico II and Pinacoteca di Brera, desired by President Gaetano Galvagno and Director Angelo Crespi.
