Will The Real Tinkerbell Please Stand Up?

On the occasion of the upcoming Olympics Games, Italian museums will be protagonists of the exhibition Games in Greece and Rome at the Museum of fine arts in Rio de Janeiro to promote dialogue between art and the universal values of sport. Each museum has sent the image of a work related to the themes of sport and representative of their collections.
Brera has chosen the Winged Victory resting on the hand of the statue of Napoleon by Canova, that greets visitors at the entrance of the Palace, as a prelude of its charms and a revisited symbol of a victory which we hope will take flight, light and joyful as a real Tinkerbell.

7th August: day dedicated to sport!
Like all first Sundays of the month, admission is free.
