The instant before the kiss

Dear visitors,
Il bacio by Francesco Hayez has found its new arrangement inside the renovated rooms dedicated to the 18th century. This means that the works of set-up have almost finished, but also that one of the most beloved paintings of Brera won’t be visible up to the 4th of October, when rooms XXXVII and XXXVIII will be reopened to the public.
We ask for your patience while waiting for the reconnection of the last two rooms and the new Caffè Fernanda with the rest of the museum, in a more beautiful and modern Pinacoteca. We also remember that on October 4th the admission to the museum will be free for the whole day and that purchasing an entry is still possible to require at the ticket office the Temporary Card of Amici di Brera, that provides unlimited admission for three months.
