For the third musical Thursday of January, Brera/Musica, under the artistic direction of Clive Britton, would like to bring to your home this online concert in collaboration with Le Dimore del Quartetto, a creative cultural enterprise that supports the careers of young international chamber music ensembles and enhances European cultural heritage.

The first Ensemble to perform is the Trio Bohémo, from the Czech Republic with Trio in E-flat Major for Piano “Nocturne,” Op. 148, D. 897 by Franz Schubert.
The reference artwork is Assumption of the Vergin by Alvise Vivarini.

 
Brera/Musica is the Pinacoteca di Brera’s project that explores and deepens the existing relationships between visual art and music, an integral part of the development of the academic, intellectual and artistic dimension of the Pinacoteca’s works. Un progetto che, a partire dai concerti in Pinacoteca durante le aperture serali del terzo giovedì del mese, ha arricchito l’esperienza del museo con un percorso che da sempre vuole illustrare il legame tra musica e capolavori esposti. An offer that is renewed and enriched from January 20 through September with a project in collaboration with Le Dimore del Quartetto, a creative cultural enterprise that supports the careers of young international chamber music ensembles and enhances European cultural heritage. L’iniziativa, sotto la curatela artistica di Clive Britton, ha lo scopo di non privare il pubblico di un appuntamento che da anni caratterizza la proposta della Pinacoteca. Non essendo ancora possibile effettuare concerti live, le esecuzioni saranno infatti fruibili on line a partire dalle ore 18, ogni terzo giovedì del mese, sul sito della Pinacoteca di Brera nella sezione Brera/Musica come per la tradizione in presenza. L’appuntamento, di carattere internazionale, vedrà esibirsi un giovane ensemble di musica da camera, selezionato dal direttore artistico delle Dimore del Quartetto Simone Gramaglia, viola del Quartetto di Cremona, originario di un paese sempre diverso.
