Brera/Music is the project of the Pinacoteca di Brera that explores and deepens the existing relationships between visual art and music, an integral part of the development of the academic, intellectual and artistic dimension of the works of the Pinacoteca. A project that, starting from the concerts in the Pinacoteca during the evening openings on the third Thursday of the month, has enriched the museum experience with a path that has always wanted to illustrate the link between music and the masterpieces on display. The offer is renewed and enriched with a project in collaboration with Le Dimore del Quartetto, a creative cultural enterprise that supports the careers of young international chamber music ensembles and enhances the European cultural heritage. The initiative, under the artistic curatorship of Clive Britton, has the aim of not depriving the public of an appointment that for years has characterized the proposal of the Art Gallery. Since it is not yet possible to perform live concerts, the performances will in fact be available online starting at 18:00, every third Thursday of the month, on the website of the Pinacoteca di Brera in the section Brera/Music as for the tradition in presence. The appointment, of international character, will see the performance of a young chamber music ensemble, selected by the artistic director of the Dimore del Quartetto Simone Gramaglia, viola player of the Quartetto di Cremona, originally from a different country.
