On August, a double date with Brera/Music, live in the Pinacoteca and online on pinacotecabrera.org.
This month returns Thursday evenings with live music in the museum rooms: third Thursday of the month, three hours of music, for three euros starting from 6 p.m.
Hour: From 6.00 p.m. to 10.20 p.m. (last entrance at 9.00 p.m.)
Where: Pinacoteca di Brera
Entrance: 3 euro from 6 p.m.
On Thursday, August 18th, from 6 p.m. to 10:20 p.m. (last admission 9 p.m.), it will be possible to admire the entire collection and the new dialogue of Pinacoteca di Brera’s “Caravaggio,” where for the first time two absolute masterpieces of the Lombard genius are arranged side by side: The Supper at Emmaus from Pinacoteca di Brera and David with the Head of Goliath from Galleria Borghese in Rome.
As always, the musical evening offers the public an opportunity to admire the entire collection, visit the renovated rooms and, of course, listen to the young performers, who will be located in different rooms within the Pinacoteca: the choice of program stems from the emotions suggested by the paintings.
The students will also be available to answer questions from the audience, in an unusual, dynamic exchange between the arts.
