Every third Thursday of the month, the Pinacoteca di Brera offers a special evening opening at the symbolic cost of 4 euros from 7 pm.

This evening is also a special opportunity to see in Room 23 A Chat Between… Matisse and Bonnard, a comparison of two masterpieces, one Henri Matisse’s Femme au violon from the Musée de L’Orangerie in Paris, the other Pierre Bonnard’s Portrait of Marta Bonnard; a special “chat” between two artists who, as visitors will discover, had a special relationship with each other as well as shared pictorial characteristics and themes.

Reservations are compulsory and are a valuable tool for public awareness, preparation and personalization of the museum experience (which begins and continues at home).
