Ed è proprio intorno a contenuti di qualità, agli appuntamenti del museo e a tematiche di interesse che è costruita la Newsletter della Pinacoteca di Brera. La newsletter mensile è così di- ventata un atteso appuntamento fisso, uno strumento di comuni- cazione tra i più efficaci per rima- nere in contatto con i propri visi- tatori. Disegnata coerentemente al sito e con una forte carica iden- titaria, dà il benvenuto del Diret- tore, racconta agli utenti le ultime novità del mese, illustra le attività dei diversi dipartimenti, presenta video e iniziative speciali. In meno di un anno quasi 2500 vi- sitatori hanno scelto di rimanere informati sulle novità del Museo e si sono iscritti alla Newsletter. Considerando il tasso di apertura medio di una Newsletter intor- no al 20%, la Newsletter di Bre- ra ha invece un valore di apertura medio altissimo che si attesta tra il 40% e il 60%. Uno strumento concreto per migliorare la rela- zione con i visitatore e l’“ascolto” delle sue esigenze. NEWSLETTER “Content is King” is the buzzword in addressing any on-line project today. Content is what makes the difference in any contemporary website’s positioning strategy. The monthly newsletter has thus become a regular appointment and one of the most effective tools of communication for stayingintouchwithourvisitors.Designed to tie in with the website and with its own strong identity, it contains greetings from theDirector,itinformsreadersofthelatest developments for the month, it illustrates the various departments’ activities, and it presents videos and special events. In less than a year almost 2,500 visitors have chosen to keep up to date on new developments in the museum and have thus registered to receive the newsletter. Considering that a newsletter’s average effective readership tends to hover around the 20% mark, Brera’s newsletter may be considered a roaring success with its effective readership of 40 to 60%. It is in effect a concrete tool for improving our relations with our visitors and for “listening” to their requirements.
